COWBOY UP!
Mindful how well it has been documented how the modern game would struggle to survive if trainers did not have the ability to extend the careers of older horses through pharmacology; and mindful how frustrating it is every time someone in our game with a public forum exposes his searing ignorance and schoolgirl naïveté by calling for its global banning; comes now the finite stopping point for all such esoteric debates.

Somewhere between the "monkeys-will-jump-outcha-butt first" scenario captured above, and the current "pretend-the-problem-doesn't-exist" global mindset, surely there exists some reasonable alternative that not only recognizes the immutable realities of the modern game, but also protects the interests of those of us on whom it relies for its survival, and who are tired of being treated like nitwits.
